If you are coming to Lutheran Hills this summer, remember that the bridge between Helmsburg and Lutheran Hills on State Road 45 is closed for repairs.
If you are coming from Bloomington on State Road 45, your travel will NOT be affected.
If you are coming down State Road 135 from Indianapolis and then taking State Road 45 at Bean Blossom, we suggest the following route: At Helmsburg, turn left onto Helmsburg Road (at the little store) and go 1 mile and turn right onto Lanam Ridge Road. This will take you to State Road 45 where you will turn right a few miles from the Lutheran Hills turnoff.
If you are coming via I-65, exit at Columbus/Nashville/Bloomington and take State Road 46 to Nashville. Turn right onto State Road 135 and go to the downtown Nashville stoplight and turn left. This is Helmsburg Road. Drive almost all the way to Helmsburg. One mile before you get to Helmsburg, turn left onto Lanam Ridge Road. This will take you to State Road 45 where you will turn right. A few miles you will see the Lutheran Hills turnoff.
